The Cycling Gardeners of Edinburgh are an eco-conscious gardening company that makes use of electric garden tools and cargo bikes to reduce our carbon footprint.
We work with a small and devoted network of independent local gardeners who apply their expertise to green spaces in and around Edinburgh. Our clients range from individual homes to communal tenement gardens.

Garden maintenance
House residents and property managers can employ us for full maintenance and upkeep of individual and communal gardens, including:

Most customers who wish to have garden maintenance sessions that include grass cutting recruit us for one or two hours every two weeks, depending on the standard that you want for your garden.
If you cut your own grass, then it's common for us to visit just once a month for plant care.
We deliver larger projects that improve communal green spaces for residents on request.

From the moment your plants spring from the ground, our gardeners are there to keep your garden looking fresh and beautiful. Plant care services include:

We love tackling overgrown gardens and restoring them to their former glory. We'll get stuck right in to prune back any stubborn greenery, remove garden waste and clear other debris from your home.
If we require transport that is larger than our cargo bikes to carry the load, we will hire an electric-powered van, so we can make sure that we keep our operations carbon free.
We are fully insured and hold a SEPA licence for waste removal.

We’ll make a regular appointment to visit your garden every few weeks to keep your lawn in check. Our cargo bikes can transport lawn mowers to your property, and any other equipment necessary.
